Edge of the Spider-Verse 01-05 (of 05) (2022)

I’ve used that quote to describe a gay superhero once before (Extraño?) and Marvel have gone all out to reboot the stereotype. But the point with stereotypes is that they are based on a certain amount of truth, and there have been more than one or two “gay fashion designers” over the past century.
POINT BEING: Much earlier this year I read that Marvel was going to introduce its very first gay Spider-Man. The article said it would be in September so I duly noted it down then forgot all about it.
Synopsis - the mysterious Madam Web is travelling through time and parallel universes collecting up all the Spider-People and/or Spider-creatures for an important task. What is that task? To prepare for the End of the Spider-Verse! An ever so significant that given there are 3-5 one-shot stories in each of these five issues it must require a lot of Spider-Heroes to prevent.
SO:
Issue 01 - the Spider-Girl in that issue has a gay best friend. It doesn’t SAY he’s gay, you can just tell by looking at him.
Issue 05 - enter the first gay Spider-Man. They don’t need to say he’s gay, they just sort of slap you in the face with it in the very first frame. It will be interesting to see how his character develops.⏬
